Security training that CISOs, SAMs, and employees rave about

Hoxhunt is the most fun I've had while doing safety training. For the first time ever, I await the phishing emails or additional training coming my way. The gamification not only makes it bearable but actually enjoyable.

What Hoxhunt is doing is bringing the power of human intelligence into the security stack, and not just as a passive last line of defense. Now you have human threat detection as an integral part of the whole stack.

The random emails you receive are targeted at the right frequency to not overwhelm you, with a good mix of different types of tricks to keep you on your toes. The gamification side of it is absolutely spot on, and encourages you to keep on top of reporting. It is regularly a talking point within our team.

I noticed that we treat Hoxhunt as a real game, which is engaging and provides a kind of distraction from our typical office routines. It's like we are expecting the hoxhunt challenge and when successfully completed we share the experience with each other, warning co-workers about the possible situations.

The switch to gamification and a carrot approach was really well embraced. And along with the broader education on real-world threats and insights into our own real threat reporting, I think the Hoxhunt training program has been received incredibly well.

It's an incredibly cool concept. In fact, I eagerly anticipate the next time I receive a new email and carefully scan my inbox to ensure I don't overlook anything.

The user interface is fun and easy to navigate, being able to obtain points and scores and review your progress against colleagues is also beneficial and helps create healthly competition. It also integrates well with our systems.

When I pull my monthly stats for reporting, part of what I’m pulling is how many TOTAL simulations went to just our active employees, and it’s always over 10,000 and that’s a shocking number.

Our own internal metrics and a phishing benchmark we conducted with other large companies in the DACH region empirically validates that the Hoxhunt training method clearly surpasses traditional solutions in terms of effectiveness.
