Q&A with Maxime
Why do you think Hoxhunt created this role for you?
Hoxhunt has built an amazing service that continuously delights our customers. But as security awareness dissolves into broader human risk management, the industry’s best practices are changing fast, and there is sometimes a disconnect between where organizations are today and where they ultimately want to be. I have already been on this journey from security awareness to holistic human risk management, and welcome the challenge of helping Hoxhunt better understand our customers and answer both their everyday challenges and long-term strategic shifts.
Why did you make the transition from security awareness, behavior and culture change leadership to this role?
In the past few years, security awareness teams across the globe have made a lot of progress in changing perceptions around cybersecurity and teaching essential skills to their staff. But there is so much left to do, with 80% of breaches still involving the human element.
I had a lot of fun creating and leading security behavior and culture change programs for global companies such as H&M, but two things have always driven my professional life: a quest for impact and a love for sharing knowledge and skills. That’s why I decided to continue my professional journey with Hoxhunt. In this position, I hope to have a positive impact that’s multiplied by hundreds of organizations using our products, and significantly help security teams in their journey to better connect to their colleagues and manage human risk.
What are you most looking forward to accomplishing with Hoxhunt, and why do you think we are the best place to do that?
I have witnessed first-hand the amazing impact Hoxhunt has on organisations: the real difference they make in creating security habits, in positively impacting culture and – putting it simply – making the world a little bit safer. This incredible team is made of some of the most talented and passionate people in the industry. I can't wait to get to build Hoxhunt with them. 🚀
